My second entry for Kristianathe 15k subscribers contest about fashion

I was inspired by my t shirt, and most generally by the beetle/iridescence trend. As I can see this trend for  a moment on nail polishes, jewellery, clothes...

Otherwise, I'm a little bit disappointed that the apricot crease I made is barely not visible in the pictures I took.
I really searched for a wearable matte shade that would recall of the orange tone of a beetle and we don't see it as much as I would've like.
It should be because of my crappy lighting (I use two little lamps and an overhead reading light). And maybe the quality of my camera isn't that good too.
But It'll  be useful to know by the way for next makeups I'll do. I'll intensify the soft shades a little bit more.

See you soon!

Crying madonna trend, my entry for Kristianathe's contest

Hi everyone,

So this is it, my first entry on a contest.  Kristiana's blog was one of the first makeup blogs i used to check one year ago when my interest for makeup grew.
I was so intringued by her work at that time like "how is it possible to do that on a face?"

Then I discovered Kristiana's youtube channel, and I'm a huge fan of her work right now, she's incredibly talented.
So when she launched a contest about fashion, I just had to do it.

The first idea that came to my mind was Jean Paul Gaultier editorial from spring summer 2007, I collected pictures of it in my tumblr, it's really one of my all time faves.
Then, last year, I saw that trend  coming back with a very good Meadam Kirchoff editorial.

To me the "crying madonna" is such a speaking theme of emotionnal and spiritual side of feminity. It's all about motherhood; having a body able to give life; and loss, emptiness.
Being connected to something wich escape you.

I wanted some ethereal and childish colors, even if it's also a glamorous madonna.

I hope you like it!

Also some pictures:

See you soon, i'm gonna prepare a second "wearable makeup" entry for the contest :)

Chelsea hotel

Playing with makeup after watching last Lana del Rey's video, that's what i did lately.
I like her style and i think her makeup and nails are stunning.
She often wear a 60's eye look with black lined crease and eyeliner.
I tried to put some green on the left eye just to see how it turned. Anyways i had fun doing this.

Lucky Charmed

I made a makeup with a beautiful metallic pigment called Lucky Charmed. This color is so similar than the one of the Wallis nail polish by Butter London, i have to wear that combo someday.
So Lucky Charmed is a pigment from Fyrinnae, i ordered it on their website last year with a bunch of other pigments and their eye base called Pixie Epoxy.
It's a good base to put only on the lid, because it's very sticky, it will intensify the color of the pigment and avoid any fallout. But on the crease, i just put my usual Mac painpot, this is the better base i found for a blending purpose.
Then on my crease i had Dressed to kill by Fyrinnae too and blended it with some matte skinlike eye shadow. In the inner corners i put the golden from the Naked palette and on the lips it's glinda lipstick by UD too.

My hair's still wet  >_<
